These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by Liberty College Prep ("we," "us," or "our"), including our website at www.libertycollegeprep.com and our student learning platform at learn.libertycollegeprep.com (collectively, the "Services"). By purchasing a tutoring package, enrolling in a group class, or creating a student account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Description of Services
Liberty College Prep provides SAT/ACT test preparation, academic tutoring, and group class instruction delivered via online video sessions and, where available, in-person sessions in South Florida. Tutoring services are provided by qualified instructors and are intended to supplement, not replace, a student's formal education.
Upon purchasing a tutoring package, the corresponding number of hours will be loaded into your student account on our learning platform within 24 hours of account creation. Hours are used when appointments are attended and marked as completed by your instructor.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
Our Services are available to students of all ages. Students under the age of 13 may only use the Services with verifiable parental or guardian consent, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). By registering an account for a student under 13, the parent or guardian represents that they have reviewed and agreed to these Terms on the student's behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. Payments and Pricing
All purchases are processed securely through Square. By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge the stated amount to your selected payment method. All prices are listed in US dollars and are inclusive of any applicable fees unless otherwise stated. Payment is due in full upfront prior to scheduling any sessions.
We reserve the right to update our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect purchases already completed. Promotional pricing and discount codes are subject to expiration and may not be combined unless explicitly stated.
Unused hours are tracked by Liberty College Prep and are available for parents and guardians to view through the student account portal.
4. Refund Policy
We want every student to be satisfied with their experience. Our refund policy is as follows:
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are dissatisfied with the first session of any package, notify us within 24 hours and receive a full refund.
Unused Hours
Policy: Unused hours in a package are refundable for up to 30 days from the date of purchase.
Pro-Rated Rule: If a refund is requested after sessions have started, the completed sessions are billed at the Standard Hourly Rate ($85 for Virtual; $110 for In-Office), not the discounted package rate. The remainder is then refunded.

Expiration Policy
Policy: All unused package hours expire at the end of 18 months from the date of purchase.
Non-Transferable: Hours cannot be transferred to another student.
To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] with your name, order details, and reason for the request. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
5. Session Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is designed to be fair to both students and instructors:
- 24-hour notice required: Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice will not result in a deduction of hours from your balance.
- Late cancellations (under 24 hours): Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will result in the session hours being deducted from your balance.
- No-shows: If a student does not attend a scheduled session without any prior notice, the session hours will be deducted in full.
- Instructor cancellations: If an instructor cancels a session, no hours will be deducted and the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

6. Student Safety & Communication
The safety and well-being of every student is a top priority at Liberty College Prep. All tutors undergo background screening and professional onboarding before working with students.
- Approved platforms only: Tutors communicate with students exclusively through company-approved platforms. Tutors do not meet or communicate with students outside of scheduled sessions unless explicitly permitted by Liberty College Prep.
- Session recording: Online sessions between tutors and students may be recorded for quality assurance and safety purposes.
- No off-platform arrangements: Parents and guardians agree not to request or arrange tutoring sessions outside of the company's official scheduling and communication systems.

7. Acceptable Use
By using our Services, you agree to conduct yourself respectfully toward instructors, staff, and other students at all times. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment, bullying, or abusive language directed at any instructor or staff member
- Recording sessions without the explicit written consent of the instructor
- Sharing, distributing, or reselling any course materials, session recordings, or proprietary content
- Using the Services to engage in academic dishonesty, including submitting work prepared by an instructor as your own without disclosure
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
Violation of this acceptable use policy may result in immediate termination of your account and forfeiture of unused hours without refund.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website and the learning platform — including text, images, course materials, practice tests, and instructional videos — is the property of Liberty College Prep or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of our content without our prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Liberty College Prep provides tutoring and test preparation services to support student learning. However, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, including particular test scores, grade improvements, or college admissions results. Academic outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control, including the student's effort, attendance, and individual circumstances.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Liberty College Prep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 90 days preceding the claim.
10. Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
